iGate Global Solutions Ltd. has reported lower first quarter net profit of 11 million rupees compared with a net profit of 14 million rupees in the year-ago quarter.
Operating profit in the quarter ended June 30, was Rs 12.9 crore, a 28 percent growth compared to Rs 10.1 crore made in the year-ago quarter.
Operating revenue for the quarter jump 23 percent to Rs 182 crore compared with Rs 147 crore a year ago.
"Clients we acquired in the Financial Services industry in the last 18 to 24 months are contributing to the growth of iGATE," said Phaneesh Murthy, CEO, iGATE Global Solutions.
During the quarter the company also added 264 new employees.
iGate is an integrated Technology and Operations company.
