Unisys to Provide IT services Centred on MS Unified Communications

Microsoft unified communication has another partner, Unisys Corp., which is developing a portfolio of consulting and systems integration services along with outsourcing alternatives to enable its clients to achieve unified communication.

"We continue to work with Microsoft to develop this services portfolio to assist our clients with defining and deploying their unified communications strategy on a global scale to facilitate communications anytime, anywhere, and on any device," said Jim Boak, vice president, Microsoft and Intel Strategic Alliances, Unisys.

Through this collaboration, Unisys will work with its clients to create a cost-effective communications infrastructure that will better connect people, information and business processes through integrated technology.

Further, Unisys will work with clients to develop a long-term roadmap for them to significantly improve their existing communications infrastructure providing solutions for messaging migration and consolidation with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, and collaboration and business intelligence with the Microsoft Office system and Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003.
