SSA Global Launches New BI Solution

SSA Global, a provider of enterprise business software and services, has announced the general availability of SSA Business Intelligence (SSA BI), a comprehensive solution that delivers reporting, analysis, monitoring and notification functionality in a single, easy-to-integrate solution.

SSA BI has been integrated with SSA ERP and there are plans to integrate the solution with other SSA Global applications.

"As a strategic offering in the SSA Global corporate performance management solution, SSA BI meets the demands of customers for secure and timely delivery of actionable information to appropriate employees within the organization and across the supply chain," said Cory Eaves, chief technology officer, SSA Global. "SSA BI delivers functionality for improving decision-making so customers can better align strategy and execution to reduce costs, increase revenue and ensure regulatory compliance."

Powered by Cognos BI and Planning tools, SSA Business Intelligence is based on a single architecture and features a centralized database for metadata to help put data into a meaningful business context. To facilitate simplified implementation, SSA BI is Web-based and includes pre-defined integrations and content.

SSA BI is a core component of SSA Open Architecture, for the enablement of service-oriented architecture (SOA) from SSA Global.
