Patni Computer Systems Ltd., a global IT consulting and services provider, has appointed Surjeet Singh as its chief financial officer. Singh, who is working with Patni’s cureent CFO Deepak Sogani, will assumed his responsibilities fro August 14. He also presently heads Mergers & Acquisitions at Patni, was also was the CFO at Cymbal Corp., co-founded by him and merged with Patni.
In his position, Singh’s responsibilities would include setting up the best processes in industry in Patni’s finance organization including robust management information systems to help drive improvement in business profit management and corporate planning processes.
Singh has around two decades of multi-industry global experience in senior management roles at leading finance, business planning and global supply chain functions.
Prior to Cymbal, Singh held various positions at Ranbaxy, and Kirloskar Brothers Ltd.
He holds a B.S in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pune and is a fellow of Institute of Costs and Works Accountants, India and AICPA, USA.
