Microsoft Launches Windows Live Gadget SDK

Microsoft has set live beta Web site Windows Live Gadget SDK that runs within the Windows sidebar, Live.com. The Gallery enables users to find available gadgets and allows developers to submit their own creations.

Microsoft said that the performance is poor right now, but its team is working to improve that.
Microsoft said it is adding many features to Live.com, and the site remains a Gadget platform for developers to build on.

Microsoft also released a beta SDK that provides documentation and examples for those interested in building Windows Live Gadgets for both Live.com and the Windows sidebar.
