Indian software and outsourcing firm R Systems International Ltd. has signed a letter of intent to acquire a U.S. technical support company for USD 10.7 million.
The cost of acquisition includes cash of 1.17 million dollars, while the balance amount of 9.53 million dollars proposed to be paid by earn-out payments and redeemable non- convertible preference shares.
The transaction would take about three months to complete, the company said.
The US-based company provides outsourced solutions for technical support, help desk and customer care and had revenue of 5.1 million Dollars in calendar year 2005.
The shares of the R Systems were trading at Rs 165, up 2.23 percent on the BSE.
