Patni Appoints New COO

Software services provider Patni Computer Systems Ltd. has announced the creation of a new role of the Chief Operating Officer and appointed Mrinal Sattawala in this capacity. In his new role Sattawala will be responsible for operations of the business units at Patni and report to Naren Patni, CEO and Chairman.

Sattawalawas earlier the executive vice-president of the company. The company said Insurance and Financial Services business units will now directly report Sattawala. He will continue to be responsible for the Sales and Regional Operations of the Europe and APAC regions, besides overseeing Global Sales and Marketing.
