Sybase Names New Korea Manager |

Sybase Inc., a provider of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, has appointed Tae-Young Kim as the new country manager for Sybase Korea. In his position Kim will be responsible for Sybase's business development, sales and marketing and management in the country.
The new country Manager said, "There is still an enormous opportunity for growth in the Korean market for Sybase. We plan to dedicate our resources to take full advantage of these opportunities and will focus on further broadening our business."
Kim, a graduate from Sogang University, joins Sybase from Secui.com. He has also worked with IBM for 24 years and has background including engineering, marketing, sales and management roles across a range of industries. Horace Chow, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Sybase commented, "Korea plays a critical role in both Sybase's global and regional strategy. Tae-Young not only brings a wealth of IT experience to this role, he is also totally familiar with the Korea market. We believe under his leadership, Sybase Korea will achieve excellent results."
