Helius has unveiled its MediaSignage 2.1 software upgrade. MediaSignage is a browser-based digital signage scheduling and distribution software application. This new version includes support for Macromedia Flash content and other customer-driven enhancements. Helius' MediaSignage software is designed to simplify scheduling while distributing rich-media content and playlists to multiple display points from a central location.
The new version offers Flash content support, besides improved scheduling flexibility. The "drag and drop" interface enables the development of unique playlists for playback at specific times on numerous displays. MediaSignage customers have a network-wide broadcast solution that communicates business-critical information to the right target at the right time. "It is Helius' goal to deliver next-generation digital IP video technologies that distribute and manage rich-media applications," said Ron Heinz, president and CEO of Helius. "MediaSignage 2.1 continues to fulfill on that mission. This release also demonstrates the involvement of our customers and channel partners in the design and development of these leading technologies."
MediaSignage 2.1 software will be available through Helius strategic channel partners beginning April 1, 2006.
