Lawson Software Names New CIO |

Lawson Software Thursday announced the appointment of Craig Bickel as it senior vice president and chief information officer.
Bickel, will take up his new role come June 2 and will be tasked to oversee the company’s global information services organization and be responsible for developing and managing Lawson’s technology strategy to support its worldwide operations in the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.
Bickel brings some 30 years of information technology experience to Lawson, including more than 20 years in senior management and executive positions. Before Lawson, Bickel was a director for AlixPartners LLP and prior to AlixPartners, Bickel served as vice president and chief information officer for Cabot Corporation. In these roles he led multiple business transformations and information services initiatives for global operations.
“Lawson is continuing to transform itself into a global business, opening new markets and operations in multiple countries,” said Bickel.
“The company has set a solid foundation for this transformation, and I look forward to helping the company operate efficiently and effectively in multiple geographies. It’s a great opportunity to put my experience to work.” |
