TCS launches Largest Development Center in India |

Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), announced last week the commencement of construction of a new development centre in Pune, India.
The TCS Sahyadri Park aims to seat some 20,000 people with the first phase expected to be completed by March 2009 with 7,000 seats. The entire facility is scheduled to be completed by end of 2010.
“TCS Sahyadri Park will drive the next phase of our growth in this area and help us access the skilled professionals and students from in and around Pune. On completion, the facility will provide direct employment to over 20,000 people as well as indirect employment to many more,” said Mr. S. Ramadorai, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Consultancy Services.
“This facility in Pune, is of special significance to us as TCS started its first R&D centre, TRDDC, in this city well over two decades ago.” |
