Intermec, Names VP & GM of AP

Intermec Technologies has announced the appointment of David Yung as Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific Region.

Yung is a technology veteran with over twenty years of general management experience in the Asia Pacific region. Yung was most recently at RS Components LTD, where he served as Asia Pacific, General Manager. He was responsible for building out a partner and distribution network for a B-to-B electronic and automation instrumentation business line.

Previous to his role at RS Components, Yung was the Managing Director at Lenovo, Inc., leading an enterprise sales capture team focusing on large project awards and deployments to top tier clients throughout Northern and Southern Asia.

"David is a results oriented general manager who demonstrates effective team building, communications and planning skills," said Michael A. Wills, SVP of Global Sales and Service.

"These leadership skills are a vital component to our growth prospects in the Asia Pacific region."
