Rumours about Sony launching a new 40 GB PlayStation has been getting intense in spite of Sony refusing to acknowledge anything of that sort is in the offing. Rumours of a cheaper 40GB PS3 first surfaced in early September after an insider source claimed it was coming. In late September, an FCC filing by Sony revealed that the company was possibly readying the new PS3 model.
Now the news is that the rumoured USD 399 PS3 would hit stores before Thanksgiving holiday.
Well the news that got everyone take notice is that the 40 GB PS3 is launching on October 30 with a free gift-Spider Man 3 game. Although Sony refused to speak on this one, what is sure is that the game version of Spider Man 3 is launching on October 30. |
