Pentax Unveils Digital Cameras |

Japanese company Pentax has launched two digital cameras adding to its Optio series. The models launched are Optio A40 and Optio V10.
The Optio A40 is the first digital camera that comes with 2.0 megapixels for ultra high-definition images. It also has 21MB of internal memory, 12 megapixels of sensor resolution, SMC Pentax-branded 3x optical zoom lens and 2.5″ LCD display with a higher than average 232,000-pixel resolution.
It also has a 1/1.7-inch CCD that has a wide light receiving area, three type of Shake Reduction including mechanical, and digital and movie versions. It also offers highly corrective effects that are equivalent to shutter speeds of approximately 2.5 to 3.5 steps can be achieved.
The Pentax Optio V10 digital camera features Pentax-branded 3x optical zoom lens that delivers tight wide-angle 36mm equivalent to a 108mm equivalent telephoto. It also offers an eight megapixel imager and huge 3.0-inch LCD display that has 230,000 pixels.
In addition, the V10 also sports twelve scene modes, power from a proprietary Lithium-ion rechargeable battery or optional AC adapter, and SD/MMC card storage plus 52.1MB of internal memory.
It also supports USB 2.0 High-Speed computer connectivity and NTSC / PAL video that has to ability to allow the user to view photos or movies on TV. |
