Apple, F5 Networks Make it to Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies List |

Fortune magazine’s recently released list of 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in 2007 shows Apple as the top tech company in eight place overall with F5 Networks trailing behind in position 50.
Companies that make the cut are considered by Fortune to enjoy exhilarating growth spurts, even in a turbulent market.
Fortune credited Apple’s stock growth to “robust laptop sales and iPhone anticipation”.
In a statement released this week, application delivery networking provider F5 Networks has attributed its growth to “delivering solutions that truly resonate with enterprises and other organisations that rely on applications to run their businesses.”
Described by Fortune as “corporate America’s supercharged performers,” companies that qualify for the 100 Fastest-Growing Companies list must be incorporated in the U.S.,have a minimum market capitalization of USD 250 million, have a stock price of at least USD 5 and have been trading continuously since June 30, 2004.
Other technology companies that made the list include Ceradyne, VASCO Data Security International, Perficient, Ladish, American Science & Engineering, Palomar Medical Technologies, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Precision Castparts, Lam Research, Radiant Systems and Concur Technologies
