After being battered by the likes of Google and IBM in the office document space, Microsoft came out with its response—Office Live Workspace.
Microsoft said the Office Live Workspace is “a new web-based feature of Microsoft Office which lets people access their documents online and share their work with others.”
Microsoft said the office document is aimed at consumers and small-business users that are interested in being able to access their documents anywhere — from any computer and any browser. This products does not directly compete with Google Apps Premier Edition (GAPE), instead Microsoft has positioned its SharePoint, Exchange and Office Communications Services as its GAPE competitors. |
