Acision Appoints New CEO

Acision has appointed Rory Buckly as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who has taken up this new position effective 1st October 2007.

Acision, which was formed in June 2007 following the purchase of LogicaCMS’s Telecoms Products division for USD 525 million by a consortium led by Atlantic Bridge and Access Industries, currently works with some 300 network operators and service providers worldwide in the messaging space.

Buckley, who joins Acision from Ericsson will be taking over Chris McDermott who is exiting the company to pursue new opportunities.
