SanDisk has launched a new digital music player that is sure to take some shine away from Apple. SanDisk’s new super-slim 16GB video and music player will just cost USD 199 and has twice the memory of Apple's new 8GB nano—at the same price.
SanDisk's 8GB View version will cost just USD 149, the price of Apple's 4GB nano.
Even the battery life is better than Apple. It has a confirmed battery life of 35 hours for music, and 7 hours for video. Apple’s iPod nano can play for a maximum of 24 hours and 5 hours of video for one full charge.
Both the players come with a MicroSD/SDHC slot for extra memory, so one can easily add 8 GB extra to the already inbuilt 16 or 8GB. Like most SanDisk digital players, the View will have an FM tuner and a voice recorder with built-in mic. |
