Study Says More People To Buy Wii Than Xbox, PS3

A new report puts to rest all speculations about declining sales of Wii. The report says more people are willing to buy Wii than its rival XBox 360 or PSP.

The report that was taken from more than 400,000 blog, forum, and social networking comments, said that more people are willing to buy a Wii than either the Xbox 360 or PS3.

"As the console war heats up again for the holiday season, Nintendo has been able to successfully target a new audience of casual gamers which has opened up new revenue opportunities for the company," said BrandIntel vice president Alan Dean. BrandIntel did the study.

He said that Wii continues to generate high-levels of appeal and recommendations. Interest in the Xbox 360 was slightly down; however, the console is still very popular amongst gaming enthusiasts due to an impressive game lineup says the report.
