Cisco Systems has said it is integrating its Network Admission Control technology into its routers for branch offices and SMBs.
The plug in module is compatible with Cisco's 2800- and 3800-Series Integrated Services Routers (ISRs).
"Through our partners, we will be providing the power of NAC in more places without increasing the complexity of the management structure," said Susan Don, director of channel business development for Cisco. "The price point makes deployment possible even for companies with small offices," she said.
Cisco said the plug in module that provides complete security would cost USD 4,995 and will ship in a few weeks. |
