The International PHP Magazine conducted a new poll over the week, asking for your opinion on what ensures smooth implementation of PHP Sessions.
The options were:
- Don't use underscore in host names
- Commit your session before it redirects
- Prevent session fixation
- Don't expose session_id's
The option ‘Commit your session before it redirects’ is the highest scorer with 16.2% votes. The options ‘Don't expose session_id's’ stood second with 14.7% votes. The option ‘Prevent session fixation’ stands third with 8.8% votes. The option ‘Don't use underscore in host names’ stands last on the list with a vote count of 7.4%.
