The Centre blog reports that symfony-forge.com has officially launched a beta version of the site. The site will remain beta for the coming weeks, and later a Trac/SVN migration will take place from symfony-project.com to symfony-forge.com.
Its homepage says that Symfony-forge is a site dedicated to Symfony plugins, software, and the community of Symfony users/developers. In this site you will find complete Application Programming Interface (API) documentation for all plugins, a growing database of plugins to work with, and other tools to help organize and guide the plugin development for Symfony.
It lists the following areas that needs some tuning:
- Browsing and searching of plugins. Need general feedback
- API documentation, does it need to be simpler? Is it too much information? or not enough?
- Applications section, open for comments
