Two Problems Fixed in Zip v.1.8.7

Pierre Alain Joye, in a post over his blog, says that two problems have been fixed in Zip 1.8.7. He says, these two problems are related to open_basedir and safe mode.

He gives details about how it was found. He says, one was discovered by Stefan Esser and is listed in number 20 in his MOPB list and affects the zip:// stream wrapper. The other is in the open method of the ZipArchive class, he says.

He says he forgot these two bugs while applying the PHP6+ changes and cleaning the code base. So, he recommends you to upgrade as soon as possible.
