PECL Releases of the Week

The PECL releases of the week are a constant for real package, an extended HTTP support package, a zip management extension and an alternative PHP Cache.

Here is the complete list:

• hidef 0.1.0: it allows definition of user defined constants in simple ini files, which are then processed like internal constants, without any of the usual performance penalties
• pecl_http 1.5.2: this HTTP extension aims to provide a convenient and powerful set of functionality for one of PHP’s major applications
• zip 1.8.6: zip is an extension to create, modify and read zip files
• APC 3.0.13: APC is a free, open, and robust framework for caching and optimizing PHP intermediate code
