SOA Software Partners with Systar

SOA Software, a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services governance solutions, and Systar, the provider of Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) software solutions, have joined to provide SOA customers with SOA-enabled BAM offering in the market.

The combination of the SOA Software and BAM platforms will transform a standards-based integration and mediation service to a real-time decision-making tool. With the addition of BAM functionalities from Systar, customers who have SOA Software solutions will be able to realise a quicker ROI. The combined solution will enable them to target and display SOA messages to key decision makers, who will in turn will be able to make critical business-impacting decisions in real-time, the companies said in a joint statement.

According to the companies, the joint value proposition of SOA Software and Systar includes the following:

  • Real-time event detection and SOA management, security and governance
  • BAM alerts that detect process oriented events
  • Service-level monitoring of Web Services and other applications simultaneously
  • Generation of Web Services activity data from SOA Software to the BAM solution
  • Enabling the enterprise to see all vital events
  • Providing real-time business level view of events
  • Alignment of front office execution with back office services

“SOA is inherently heterogeneous, and our clients want a BAM solution that can span every potential component of a business process whether they are Web Services or legacy applications,” said Roberto Medrano, SOA Software’s Executive Vice President. “For this reason, we are very pleased to be teamed with Systar on a joint offering to solve this problem.”
