PECL Releases of the Week

This week there are five PECL releases reported. They are a package providing extended HTTP Support, an extension that provides Swish-e bindings, mcve 5.2.2, a libmonetra/libmcve interface, a Service Component Architecture (SCA) and Service Data Objects (SDO) for PHP and a package that allows running of complete applications out of .phar files (like Java .jar files).

Here is the complete list:

  • pecl_http 1.5.0RC1: this HTTP extension aims to provide a convenient and powerful set of functionality for one of PHPs major applications
  • swish 0.1: this extension provides bindings to the Swish-e API
  • mcve 5.2.2: interface the MCVE/Monetra API (libmonetra [formerly libmcve]), allowing you to work directly with MCVE/Monetra from your PHP scripts
  • SCA_SDO 1.1.2: Service Data Objects (SDOs) enable PHP applications to work with data from different sources (like a database query, an XML file, or a spreadsheet) using a single interface
  • phar1.0.0RC2: this is the extension version of PEAR's PHP_Archive package
