Kishonti Informatics, a provider of mobile Java (J2ME) performance benchmarking software, has launched JBenchmark ARM CPU Estimator (ACE)
The JBenchmark ARM CPU Estimator (ACE) is designed to measure the performance of Java (Java ME)- enabled mobile devices. Developed by Kishonti Informatics, a provider of mobile Java (J2ME) performance benchmarking software, the JBenchmark ACE software reveals the type of processor, clock speed and profiles the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) used in the mobile device. It supports Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) Java environments and the DoJa platform developed by DoCoMo, which is mainly used by phones in Asia and Europe.
According to Kishonti, JBenchmark ACE can identify all major ARM processor generations, including the ARM7, ARM9 and the latest ARM11 processor families. It reports the different performance profiles and differing range of clock rates of each ARM processor class.
