Top Ten PHP Games |

Pádraic Brady in a post over his blog lists the top ten rankings in terms of open source PHP games for each gaming category. Each item on the list includes the Sourceforge ranking against all other projects. The list of top ten Turn-Based Strategies (as filtered for PHP use) include:
- phpDiplomacy (268)
- Some Chess (1077)
- Quantum Game Library for PHP (3196)
- Solar Imperium (3860)
- Solar Empire (4032)
- REMLAB Web Mech Designer (4202)
- Alien Assault Traders (5272)
- PHP RISK (7156)
- Star Trek: Allegiance (7351)
- GameServ IRC Services (7417)
He says the first place with a majority goes to phpDiplomacy. He says the numbers in brackets represent overall Sourceforge rank against all other projects of all categories. He says that 268 is a good score by gaming standards. He praises the Quantum Game Library, even though still has to host the current 0.7x series of the QS game stands third with a total rank of 1077.
He observes the rankings and says there is a fairly wide gap between each placement. The number one and two spots are widely separated from subsequent rankings. Overall the QGL has leaped up the rankings since last year.
