PS3 Sales Dropping in Japan

 

 

Media Create has come out with statistics of the number of gaming consoles sold after their release. According to the report, PlayStation 3 sales were at 25,531 units in Japan. The sales of the consoles seem to be taking a dip as per the report. All three consoles—PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 have sold an estimated 128,274 units. This week saw the lowest in sales the report said.

Media Create gathered its data from 3,000 shops across Japan.

The report said that Wii topped the sales list with 61,399 units sold in the week. The PlayStation Portable's Metal Gear Solid Ops, sold 28,152 copies. The highest ranking PlayStation 3 game was Resistance: Fall of Man at number 40. No Xbox 360 games appeared in the top 50, the report said.
