Interwoven Beefs up WCM with TeamSite Capabilities

Interwoven has revealed important enhancements to Interwoven TeamSite. This new version of TeamSite continues Interwoven’s plan in making it easier to execute, manage and control complex projects that span multiple web sites and multiple delivery channels. TeamSite ReportCenter is said to empower enterprises to measure the efficiency of people, processes, and systems to accelerate time-to-value from their WCM investment.

Included in the new version of TeamSite is full enterprise support for Linux, enabling organisations to reduce total cost of ownership by taking advantage of this platform, the company said. According to Interwoven, additional capabilities of this release include:

• Next-generation Workflow Builder: gives business users a drag-and-drop task-based interface to easily create, manage and deploy workflows to automate the business processes that drive Web publishing
• Single sign-on (SSO) enhancements: provide an open infrastructure for integration with third-party SSO systems to ensure critical applications work together
• FormsPublisher enhancements: it accelerate performance and extend capabilities, making it even faster for business users to quickly add and change Web content
