NetApp Joins Microsoft Technology Center Alliance Member Program
Network Appliance has joined the Microsoft Technology Centre (MTC) Alliance Member Program. As part of this program, NetApp storage has been installed in Microsoft Technology Centres worldwide. In addition, NetApp committed more than USD 9 million in storage hardware and software solutions to promote Microsoft applications solutions and technologies.
“Microsoft is very happy to announce that NetApp has joined the Microsoft Technology Centre Alliance Member Program,” said Dan’l Lewin, corporate vice president, Strategic and Emerging Business Team, at Microsoft Corporation.
“As the fast-growing SAN storage vendor in the marketplace today, NetApp is committed to deliver SAN storage solutions for Microsoft products such as Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint Portal Server, and other Microsoft applications and technologies,” said Patrick Rogers, vice president of Products and Partners at Network Appliance.
NetApp storage solutions are installed in MTCs, including Beijing, China; Taipei, Taiwan; Bangalore, India; Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE); Munich, Germany; Copenhagen, Denmark; Paris, France; London, England; and locations in the United States, including Boston, Mass.; Reston, Va.; Chicago, Ill.; Austin, Tex., and Mountain View, Calif., located in Silicon Valley.
