NETGEAR a provider of networking products has announced the availability of the ProSafe SSL VPN Concentrator 25 (SSL312) in Singapore. The SSL312 delivers remote access to network resources for Small- and Mid-sized Businesses (SMBs).
By eliminating the need to install special client software on the remote computer, mobile workers can access the corporate network affordably using any PC and standard Web browser with Internet access.

The company states that the SSL312’s features include SSL support for security and privacy, granular policy configuration tools for complete control over individual user access, and a clientless architecture that eliminates the high cost of installing, configuring and maintaining client software. The SSL312 which ensures data privacy with SSLv3 and TLSv1.0 with AES-256, cryptographic hash algorithms such as MD5 and SHA-1 and optional automatic cache cleanup after session termination to ensure privacy of data, supports 25 concurrent remote users to securely access resources using standard web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer and Apple Safari.
