Hexaware Technologies a provider of BPO and IT services, and Borland Software India have announced an alliance under which Borland's Indian subsidiary will provide management solution services to Hexaware.
P. K. Sridharan, Executive Director and President (India Operations) of Hexaware, said the two companies had also jointly launched a centre in India at Hexaware in Chennai. This would be the first centre set up by Borland in India with a partner as part of the company's new partner engagement model.
Mr. Sridharan said that under this programme, nearly 2,000 employees would be trained in six months. The centre would serve as a technology incubation hub and provide training, evaluation software, online learning, technical seminars and solution demonstration to software professionals at Hexaware. It would also provide access to the full suite of Borland application lifecycle management solutions to project managers, delivery heads, analysts, architects and testers at Hexaware.
The Managing Director of Borland India, Satyen Parikh, said that as part of the global partnership, Borland and Hexaware would also emerge in joint go-to-market activities, which include joint solutions as well as joint selling and marketing activities.
He further added, "We want to ensure that Borland keeps evolving and coming up with programs that help address the unique requirements of the market space on which Borland focuses. The Center of Excellence is aimed at providing a framework to develop this relationship between Borland and Hexaware."
