Aircel Now Provides Coverage to 700 Towns in TamilNadu
Aircel, the mobile telecommunications operator in TamilNadu, has announced that it has crossed another milestone by expanding its service areas to 700 towns in the state. Aircel said the launch at the temple town of Srimushnam underlines the fact that, Aircel's reach goes beyond cities or towns and extends to every nook and cranny of the state.
KVP Baskar, CEO, said, "We at Aircel rededicate ourselves to our subscribers of the state and Aircel as a leader is poised to cover 1200 towns by the end of this year."
Aircel, which is the leading mobile operator in TamilNadu, also has a presence in west Bengal, Orissa, Assam, North East, and Jammu and Kashmir. The company said it is focused on expanding its services to 10 new circles by the end of 2006 to become a national player.
Aircel the most preferred operator in Tamil Nadu, today, crossed yet another milestone by spreading its service areas to 700 towns in Tamil Nadu.
On the eve of its expansion to 700 destinations, Aircel conducted sports and cultural programs at Srimushnam. KVP Baskar distributed prizes to winner of various sports and inaugurated the tower along with a showroom.
