John Chen Emerges as the IBM Makeover Challenge Winner in Singapore
IBM has announced that John Chen is the winner of the IBM Makeover Challenge in Singapore. John Chen won a suite of IT solutions comprising hardware, software and services worth up to SGD 80,000 and a Lenovo ThinkPad.
The IBM Makeover Challenge is a contest targeted at small to medium enterprises (SMEs) that have outgrown their IT capacity and are looking to transform their IT architecture to cater for future growth. The duration of the contest was from 7 June to 28 July 2006.
"Knowing that SMEs often encounter the challenge of limited I.T. expertise and resources, we work closely and proactively with our Business Partners to offer comprehensive solutions to help SME clients solve business problems and innovate," said Nicholas Tan, General Manager, Global Small and Medium Business, IBM Singapore. "IBM has a whole suite of technology solutions to help SMEs become more competitive and resilient, as well as to help enable them to innovate more successfully. This initiative also demonstrates IBM's commitment to our partners and to helping SMB clients succeed."
