Curam Software, a provider of social enterprise management (SEM) software, and Hewlett-Packard have announced an agreement to deliver a comprehensive SEM solution to public sector agencies worldwide.
Consisting of hardware, software, and Web services, the SEM solution is designed to improve the overall quality and efficiency of service delivery by empowering agencies to overcome boundaries, simplify business processes, and integrate new applications into a holistic citizen-centric overview. Based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), open, and industry-standard systems, the solution represents an alternative to transfer and legacy mainframe systems.
As part of the agreement, Curam Software installed the Curam Business Application Suite on HP Integrity servers running the HP-UX 11i operating system.
"Working with Cúram Software, HP is offering a comprehensive social services solution tailored to the specific needs of civilian agencies – from the device to the desktop to the data center," said Enrique Barkey, Worldwide Director, Civilian Agency Solutions, HP.
