Vodafone Group Plc has appointed a new Chief Technology Officer, Steve Pusey, Nortel’s executive vice president, and president, EMEA, with effect from 1 Sept.
As CTO of Vodafone will be responsible for all aspects of Vodafone's networks, IT capability and supply chain management. He will report to the Chief Executive of Europe and will join the Group's Executive Committee.
Pusey, 45, will succeed Tim Miles who will be returning to New Zealand with his family.
Steve Pusey said, "The strategic priority will be to continue leveraging Vodafone's scale benefits across all areas of Technology both to reduce capital and operating costs and ensure Vodafone differentiates its offering in the marketplace."
