InfoNow Rolls out Mobile Location Insight

InfoNow Corp., a provider of channel visibility and location service solutions, has announced the rollout of its new InfoNow Mobile Location Insight. Consumers of InfoNow Location Insight now have wireless access to business locations throughout the world quickly and hassle free with their PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), cellular telephone, or other hand-held mobile device.

This service extends InfoNow's integrated 'touch-point' approach by providing consumers with a consistent experience in locating business offices whether through the web, voice response or mobile devices. Simply by inputting a location — such as the city/state or postal code — InfoNow Mobile Location Insight delivers a street address, city and state, postal code, distance from the location, clear driving or walking directions, and specific feature types, such as hours of operation, accessibility options like walk-up or drive through, and phone numbers.

For instance, if a business traveler were out of town and searching for her bank's ATM, she would access InfoNow Mobile Location Insight through a PDA and enter her current location. The customer would then get an address, a map and directions to her bank's nearest ATM.

"Bank customers frequently find themselves looking for an ATM or branch location in an unfamiliar neighborhood or city," said Mark Geene, CEO of InfoNow.

"InfoNow Mobile Location Insight offers the ideal solution, since the customer can get the location of the nearest ATM or branch office from a restaurant, a store, a street corner — anywhere they may be," Gene said.
