IBM Tivoli Continuous Data Protection for Files 2.1.1
By Indu Britto
The Big Blue has rolled out an upgrade to its Continuous Data Protection for Files software with more subfile backup for Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook and additional administrative tools. The new software acts as a safety net for data, providing immediate backup of information stored on personal computers and servers. It also improves replication speed and control. It automatically senses which portion of end-user email files have been changes and moves only the modified pieces to archives, reducing the need for greater bandwidth and storage capacity.
