Salesforce.com Launches Platform-As-A-Service

Salesforce.com, the on-demand service company has expanded into platform-as-a-service.

Salesforce.com, the on-demand service company has expanded into platform-as-a-service.

The company is unveiling today the service called as Force.com and it makes it easier to write software applications via the Web. The service should be online by early next year.

Salesforce.com says it will help more users create their own business applications online.

Salesforce.com said it expects the service to become a catalyst for more users on its AppExchange software Web site in which many software developers already exchange and sell software.
